"amaculo"

We've mixed folk songs from Lower Austria with African folk songs from Zimbabwe and our music. Participants where also some local choirs. Check it out...

Wir haben Volksmusik aus Niederösterreich mit afrikanischen Volksliedern aus Zimbabwe und unserer eigenen Musik kombiniert. Mit dabei waren auch regionale Chöre. Hört mal rein...

"amaculo" is the Ndebele/Zulu word for "music/song/melody". We use it, though this verb has a rather bad meaning in Spanish. We believe our audience has enough dignity to ignore such side effects! Speaking out the word in a correct way the "C" sounds more like a "D" in the back of Your palate - give it a try!

"amaculo" ist ein Insindebele-Wort für "Musik/Lied/Melodie". Wir verwenden es, trotz einer bösen Slang-Bedeutung in Spanisch, da wir von unserem Publikum wissen, es hat genug Anstand, dergleichen zu ignorieren. In diesem Wort, korrekt ausgesprochen, muss das "C" wie ein "D" hinten im Gaumen klingen - versucht das einmal!
